What drives chimney calls in Sherman Oaks
Sherman Oaks houses up in the hills tend to run two flues through one tall masonry stack, and the top of that stack is not something you can judge from the driveway. Down on the flats the second fireplace is usually a factory-built unit from a remodel, with a metal flue and a cap of its own. We treat each as its own chimney and write it up that way. That's the backdrop for every pellet stove repair visit we run here - it shapes what we load on the truck, how much time we block off, and what we recommend afterward.
